Prof. B.L. Dawar established Bio Slides Laboratory in 1970 for making superior quality biological slides
for domestic educational needs.
            On growing needs and demands; now we are exporting our products any where in the world.
            We are producing quality products with latest technical know how and  have qualified biologists.
            We are making more than 600 types of slides and still adding many more slides that are new.
            We are using the following staining Techniques:
  1. Hematoxylene / Eosine for Animal Histology.
  2. Safranin / Fast Green for General Anatomy of Plants.
  3. Gram Staining Technique for Bacterial Smears.
  4. Borax Carmine / Fast Green FCF for Coelenterates and Arthropod whole mounts.
  5. Gomori technique for Cell Division slides.
  6. We use best quality German Canada Balsam and Euparal as mounting medium.

We have recently added new sets for Multimedia Teaching system in Biology

  These sets have Prepared Biology Slides, OHP Color Transparencies on related topics and set of Work sheets with drawings and sketches for all slides in the set. The drawings on work sheets are labeled for clear understanding.

The teachers are advised to photocopy these sheets for every student for distribution in practical class.
